Впечатляващата промяна на Коен е част от подготовката му за ролята на Мефисто – дяволското въплъщение във вселената на Marvel (MCU). В сезонния финал героинята Рири Уилямс (Доминик Торн) се изправя срещу мистериозния Мефисто, изигран от Коен, който се опитва да я манипулира с обещания за възкресяване на нейна близка, превърната в изкуствен интелект.
Самият президент на Marvel Studios Кевин Файги потвърди тази седмица, че Коен ще се завърне като Мефисто и в други проекти, макар подробностите да остават в тайна.
Заслужава да се отбележи, че тази физическа метаморфоза на Коен идва година след раздялата му с актрисата Айла Фишър след 13 години брак. Двамата, които имат три деца, обявиха през април: „След дълъг тенис мач, продължил над 20 години, най-сетне оставяме ракетите. Още през 2023 г. подадохме молба за развод. Винаги сме ценили личното си пространство и тихо преминаваме през тази промяна.“
